Plain-language summary
Guvello works without a Guvello account. Your quiz answers, preferences, shortlist, swipe history, Skill DNA, test-drive progress and plans are saved locally on your device. You can optionally turn on iCloud Sync to keep that progress available on your Apple devices. Guvello does not operate an advertising tracker or analytics profile.
Information stored on your device and iCloud
The app stores the choices and progress needed to personalise your experience on your device. If you choose to enable iCloud Sync in Profile, an encrypted progress snapshot is stored in your private Apple iCloud account so your Apple devices can restore it. Guvello does not operate a server that receives this progress, and the developer cannot read it. Apple processes iCloud data under Apple's privacy policy. If iCloud Sync is off, progress remains only on that device.
Purchases
Guvello+ purchases and restores are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Guvello does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase information under its own privacy policy, and the App Store account used for the purchase controls the entitlement.
External sources
Some career and study screens link to external public information sources. When you choose to open one, that website's privacy practices apply. Guvello does not receive your browsing activity from those sites.
Clearing your information
You can clear locally saved progress from the app's Profile area and turn off iCloud Sync at any time. Deleting Guvello removes its local app data, but does not automatically remove an iCloud progress snapshot or an App Store purchase entitlement connected to your Apple account. You can manage iCloud data through your Apple device settings.
Children and young people
Guvello can be explored by people who have not started higher education or employment, but it is not presented as a child-directed service. Guvello does not knowingly collect personal information from children because it does not collect account or profile data on its servers.
